Here are some of the rugs I have brought back from the Middle East: Kilims from Anatolia, and Cappadocia in Turkey, Kurdistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Kazakstan and Balouchistan, also antique rugs and çiçim, zili & soumak pieces, camel, saddle, grain & salt bags and other interesting and beautiful textiles. I am working on a new www.kilim.ie website at the moment, on which I am collecting information about and photos of interesting motifs from Anatolian kilims and the use of different weavings in daily life. Any suggestions for sources of photos would be greatly appreciated.
